It's been a while

Wow...so I'm totally addicted to myspace now and I haven't done this in a long time. Today is Travis' birthday. Scary 15. He wants to drive, but he's not very good at it. And General Conference was this weekend, and like always it was amazing. Does anyone want to contribute to the Send Samantha To Utah fund. I know I hated that place, but I want to go back for a visit. There actually was stuff I liked up there. I'm probably going in May so I'll have to find some odd jobs or something to do to earn about $400 to go ($200 for the ticket, $200 for spending). Sorry I'm such a slacker at this, but you can email me or visit me on myspace.

Gmail is Free

First thing...www.myspace.com/samanthatrahan12 is my myspace page if you want to check it out. But...gmail is like the coolest thing ever now. I've had a gmail account for about two years now. It used to be very exclusive, but now more and more people are getting an account, but you still have to be invited. I remember when you were only allowed to invite 5 people. Then the longer you had an account the more invites you got. I could never use all of mine. But now, as of today, gmail is open to everyone who wants it. And there are some many cool new options on it. You just have to check it out. So there's my plug for Gmail. And Happy Valentine's Day, even though I don't have a Valentine or anything like that. Later.

Dang Peer Pressure

I did it. I gave in to peer pressure and I got a myspace. I don't know the address or anything like that, but you can look me up by doing sam.i.am. I feel like I gave into the world, but I have to admit, it's pretty addicting. It's probably a bad thing, but check it out anyway.

Is blogging old?

So I was informed yesterday that I shouldn't blog anymore because blogging is so old and that I should get a myspace. First...I wouldn't have any friends on myspace. No one likes me that much to be my friend. Second...I couldn't tell what was up every day. I would just talk to people. But I think I'm going to go ahead and do it any way. I'm going to keep the blog, but myspace also. We'll see. I'll probably have time to set the whole thing up on Friday or something so we'll see. And I'm SICK! My aunt made me sick. It kinda sucks, but oh well, whatcha going to do about it. Next Friday isn't a holiday by any means, but I don't have school because everyone is cancelling class so you'll have a big weekend for Mardi Gras. Bunch of drunks in Lafayette I tell you. So this means I have THREE test on Wednesday. Man I'm going to be swamped. I think it's strep. Hope not. I found out today that there will be a temple trip on Mardi Gras, so I'm excited about that. On top of my dresser is a cowboy hat, a bottle of coke, and a temple statue. Is that a little odd to anyone? I laughed the other day when I saw the temple chillin' by the coke. :) A new "lost" tonight. YEAH. And I'm starting to get into "Grey's Anatomy." It's actually not a bad show. Alright, I'm going to bed because my body aches. Peace out.

What's in Your Diet

For my health class we have to keep track of EVERYTHING we eat for five days. Then we have to calculate how many calories we intake and see if our diets are really as good as we think they are. I'm probably going to do this in the next week or so, but I'm interested to see how bad I really eat. So I'm issuing a challenge to everyone to keep track of everything you eat and drink, including water, then go to mypyramid.gov and figure out how you're doing. For those of you on the workout kick and all that good stuff it's just another way to help get your life healthier. I'm excited to see and then I'm really going to make an effort to change my eating habits. I thinking that seeing it will help me change. If you do this let me know if you were shocked and if you're going to change. Healthy People 2010 is our goal and it's fast approaching, so we need to get going.

It's a Pride Thing

We were having a lesson in Sunday School about pride. And when you say proud you are insinuating that you are better than something or something else. So Sister Crossley said to us Louisiana people doesn't it bother us when Texas people go off about how great they are, and then everyone jumped in and explain how this comment was true and how having Texas pride is the good kind of pride as opposed to the bad kind. FYI: It's all bad! It so was a horrible conversation.
