More People Love Me

So I honestly thought that Mary Ruth was the only person who cared about my crazy life and read my blog. But it turns out she's not. So "holla" to all of you out there reading my blog. Isn't it cool??? Ok, maybe not, but I'm just happy that others read. And thanks to that ONE other person who felt the need to comment. THANK YOU MELISSA!!! I was so happy when I received your comment. So yeah, this is basically just a hi to all the new people. And yes Melissa, it was a special event. Someone got married or something, I kinda forgot.

My Happy Place

So I'm sure all of us have a happy place. It's a place where we go and enjoy the time we have, either by ourselves, or maybe we take a friend or two. This is my happy places, or at least one of serveral of them like this. This is the Houston Texas Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Isn't it pretty. This morning I woke up at 5:30 to go to my happy place with my ward. Now I'm not saying I'm going to make a habit of this (I'll stick to my bi-monthly, I try for more, trips), but I must say it was a great reason to get up that early. I mean I did it for over 2 years, you'd think it would be easy for me (getting up at 5:30). I know this reason made it a lot easier to do so. Well I'm off to the temple. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Reasons I Hate Utah

So let me list the reasons I hate Utah:

Ok, so there's really only one. If I thougth long and hard I could name a few more, but for now it's just snow. I really don't like it. But in a weird sort of way I'm kinda glad it's snowing. If it's going to be this cold it might as well snow right? Right, and it finally did. Not that I hate all aspects of snow, just most of them. It's fun the first time it snows and you wake up and it's all white and fun. But then you have to drive home from work at 10:30 and the roads are slick and it's snowing...NOT FUN!! But if I hated it that bad I would move, and I'm still here, so maybe it's growing on me.

LSU Football

Those of you who know me know that I love sports. I won't date a guy who knows less about sports than I do, and believe me, I know a lot. I particulary like college football. My favorite teams are the BYU Cougars and of course the LSU Fightin' Tigers. Today the Tigers could be playing for the SEC Championship in Atlanta with a over Arkansas. It was a nail biter, but the Fightin' Tigers came through with a win. GO LSU!!! It was a good day just because LSU won.

Thanksgiving

Today is Thanksgiving and even though I didn't have a real Thanksgiving...alright, let's be honest, a pretty crappy one...I decided to tell you a few things I'm thankful for.

I could go on forever because I do have a lot to be thankful for. But one thing that you wouldn't think is I am thankful that I don't have that much money because I don't feel the need to sleep outside of Circuit City or Best Buy. That's right, I saw people camping out. Crazy fools. But I do kinda want a digital camera. Maybe I'll get some money first. I had to work today, and that was great. I didn't talk to my family today, and that made me a little sad, but I guess I'll be ok. Well, Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Kenny vs. Shakira

So this is my favorite man I've never met...Kenny Chesney. His music is just so good. I love him. He's the reason I fell in love with the islands, and I won't marry any man who doesn't like country music, especially Kenny. But recently I've discovered my passion for music with a Latino flare, ok...just Shakira. I think I was introduced to the world of Shakira my freshman year at BYU. Her music is really good, but I can't understand a word she says. I think it one song she says "Whenever, Whatever"...oh wait, that's the song I actually do understand. Anyway, listen to her, she's good. But no one will ever take the place of Kenny. Just look at him, he's hot! I love Kenny Chesney!!!!

Park City

So today is Monday, and Monday is my off day. What better to do than go buy sweatpants? My roommate is home because she decided to ditch work and class so I ask her if she wants to go shopping. Of course, she says. So off to Ross we go. But I didnt' find anything at Ross. So we proceed to the mall. But the mall just didn't do if for me either. Where should I go I wonder? Oh, let me just drive an hour north and go to Park City to the outlets. So I did! And I bought sweatpants. So all in all I'd say I had a pretty productive day, don't you think?

My Brother Glenn

So I have this brother. He's 18, and he's by far one of the funniest and most interesting people I know. Again, because I don't have a camera, I don't have a picture, but take my word...He's pretty cool. He lives in Louisiana, and I live in Utah, so I don't see him often. He's probably the best person you'll ever meet if you don't know that many people...just kidding. I just want to give a "holla" to my brohter. GLENN ROCKS!!!

I Made the Photo Wall

So this weekend I went to a good friends wedding reception. I knew both the bride and the groom so it wasn't like one of those weird wedding receptions where you're not sure what to say so you leave five minutes after you get there, it was a good one. So they had these cute picture frames with a bunch of pictures in them. They stood about 4 feet tall and had pictured to the ground. So I'm looking at pictures, going about my business, and oh, oh, what's that??? That's right...it's a picture of me. I made the picture wall. Apparently I'm a better friend than I thought, or maybe they just thought the bride and the groom looked cute in the picture so they wanted to use it. Either way, I made the wall. And I looked hot, but because Mary Ruth won't buy me a digital camera, or anyone for that matter, I don't have a picture to post and show you. :) later!

Mary Ruth is the COOLEST!!!

So here's the thing...I didn't start this blog. I got conned into it. I was just chatting to my great, dear friend Mary Ruth and she got all my personal information and started this for me. She wants to keep in touch or something. Well, I guess since she was so nice and did this for me I'll be nice and try...key word try...and keep it up for her.
